Summary:
Oversees all construction operations to include goal setting, organization of activities, meeting objectives and ensuring services meet established standards by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Evaluates and examines all areas to ensure services meet established standards and are completed within appropriate time limits.
2.
Maintains productivity by allocating resources and delegating tasks appropriate to employee skills.
3.
Anticipates needs and establishes priorities and courses of action to meet objectives each day.
4.
Maintains work areas and systems in a neat, orderly condition to ensure smooth operations.
5.
Obtains and analyzes factual information relevant to objectives and clearly defines work procedures to produce expected results.
6.
Monitors results of delegated assignments, evaluates budget compliance and makes suggestions as appropriate.
7.
Communicates in a clear, concise manner via verbal and written form with employees and other groups to ensure comprehension.
8.
Develops and maintains an effective company through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of direct staff.
9.
Completes all carpentry work in an efficient manner.
10.
Operates power tools in a safe manner to include table saws, radial arm saws, miter saws, table and hand planers, nailers and drills.
11.
Lifts and carries tools to perform work.
12.
Completes requisition forms for materials and supplies and submits to management for processing.
13.
Communicates with management to clarify work order information and to relay work in progress.
14.
Adheres to established policies and procedure and pays special attention to safety regulations.
15.
Performs on call responsibilities in accordance with established schedules.
16.
Cleans and maintains company vehicles according to company standards.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Driver's License Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises one or more employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
