Requirements:
US Citizenship and ability to pass background screenings/obtain NACIMaster's degree in a biological science with an emphasis in microbiology and/or molecular biology techniques (molecular biology, bacteriology, immunology, or similar) and between 2-5 years of post-graduate experience performing molecular/microbiology testing in a public health or clinical laboratoryExperience in molecular biology:
nucleic acid extraction, PCR, protein characterization, gel electrophoresis, molecular cloningExperience in microbiology:
antibiotic susceptibility testing, minimum inhibitory concentration testing, bacterial culture, pulsed-field gel electrophoresis, plaque assays, environmental specimen testingPossess excellent organizational, management, and communication skills including writing abilityexperience with advanced molecular characterization technologies:

Qualifications:
Experience with serological assays and/or viral cultureTasks:
Assist biological and medical scientists in the laboratory, setting up, operating, and maintaining instruments & equipment, monitoring/conducting experiments, making observations, and calculating/recording resultsPerform nucleic acid extraction from samples and characterize them utilizing various molecular biology approaches to include next generation sequencing, PCR, and quantitation approachesPerform culture on a suite of bacterial and/or viral pathogens on various media.
Characterize specimens utilizing microbiology/virology approaches to include antibiotic susceptibility testing, plaque assays, pulsed-field gel electrophoresisAssist PHT staff in developing and optimizing procedures for characterizing pathogensUpdate/conduct review of scientific literature relevant to the research initiativesSupport experimental planning/design, protocol training and execution, and data collection and analysisSupport the preparation of reports of program initiatives as related to the project at the direction and input of PHT staffSupport the laboratory with other tasks as required to ensure proper function of the laboratory, including but not limited to communal solid waste disposal, and general laboratory maintenance proceduresMust be eligible to pass security/background screening JYG Innovations is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
