Software Engineer

DISCUS Software Company is looking to hire a software engineer to join our commercial product development team as a full-time employee in Fairborn, Ohio. The DISCUS products are software tools for accelerating manufacturing and quality engineering. DISCUS has thousands of customers in the aerospace, automotive, and medical device manufacturing industries. The next generation of DISCUS products currently in development are browser and mobile-based tools to enable digital transformation in forward-looking industrial enterprises.We are seeking candidates with experience building web- and tablet-based applications using Java, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AngularJS, and RESTful services.As a software developer, you will work as part of the development team. You will be responsible to:? Develop and test applications for PC, tablet, and other mobile devices? Integrate SDKs, tools, components written in various programming languages into DISCUS web applications? Follow the team processes for agile development, check-in, and standards.Required skills, knowledge, experience:? Minimum of 1 year of web application development experience using JavaScript? Experience with web development frameworks such as AngularJS? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/EngineeringPreferred skills, knowledge, experience:? Experience with web frameworks such as Bootstrap and jQuery a big plus? Experience with RESTful web services? Experience with Java and/or C++? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
